Certainly needs no introduction, Douglas Kirkland.
Important Canadian photographer. He began his career in the '60s, working in several U.S. magazines. He photographed the characters of greater thickness, especially art. He worked on the set of numerous films. He has won awards and published books.
Is not that what charms of this character. It is his genius and his work as a perfect ace. And his ability to represent what goes beyond the image and reset the temporal distance between the viewer and the model. His portraits always manage to capture the essence of the spiritual, sensual and cruel being than the physical. The expression beyond appearance, the smell than the film. And that's what makes you say, I was there, I was laying there while Warhol captured better, while Nicholson lit the match, I remember it perfectly.
I adore his photography work!

His photography is stunning. Whenever I go to photo galleries I always spend 30 minutes looking at each photo and trying to imagine all the moments before and after...and then my friends pull me away :P It's hard not to get sucked into them.
