Want to live in the "Infinity Mirror Room"

Infinity Mirror Room - Phalli's Field
Yayoi Kusama
1965

Arte pop e ambientazione. Arte nell'ambientazione.

Since September 2011, the work of Kusaka, Japanese artist of the most influential of the second half of the twentieth century, is part of the permanent collection at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
Today it is easy to see contemporary artists who create installations to office space, playing with illusions of depth and links between lights and shapes.
But this work is dated 1965 and is the first in a series of artist installations office in a few simple materials - glass, fabric, dots - that characterize her Mirrored Years.
Representation of an avant-garde spirit that for the first time puts the viewer in front of a necessary participation and experimentation with what he sees.
Pop - Environment art. Art in the environment.

Focus on Birdhead

Birdhead, ovvero Song Tao e Ji Weiyu.

Birdhead, such as Song Tao and Ji Weiyu. These two Japanese Chinese artists - photographers - creative  live - experience - create in Shanghai.
They have participated as exhibiting artists at the Biennale of Art 2011.

“Welcome to the Birdhead world again at Venice”

Good idea!

Four full walls of simple images, black and white and color, represent real life moments of living in the suburbs of Shanghai. Happy moments, games, family, trivial details so as not to arouse any emotion. Yet the line between banality and realism is to be inventive exceeded, with these photographs, or, in my opinion, completely eliminated.
It wants to be a representation of the incredible change and radical development that is undergoing the city of Shanghai, from communism to capitalism. And this change is perfectly expressed  in the change in lifestyle and daily activities of those who live there.

Modernism frenzy against simple poverty.

Good idea!
