Want to live in the "Infinity Mirror Room"

Infinity Mirror Room - Phalli's Field
Yayoi Kusama
1965

Arte pop e ambientazione. Arte nell'ambientazione.

Focus on Birdhead

Birdhead, ovvero Song Tao e Ji Weiyu.

Birdhead, such as Song Tao and Ji WeiyuThese two Japanese Chinese artists - photographers - creative  live experience - create in Shanghai.
They have participated as exhibiting artists at the Biennale of Art 2011.

“Welcome to the Birdhead world again at Venice”

Good idea!

Four full walls of simple imagesblack and white and color, represent real life moments of living in the suburbs of ShanghaiHappy moments, games, family, trivial details so as not to arouse any emotionYet the line between banality and realism is to be inventive exceeded, with these photographsor, in my opinioncompletely eliminated.
It wants to be a representation of the incredible change and radical development that is undergoing the city of Shanghai, from communism to capitalism. And this change is perfectly expressed  in the change in lifestyle and daily activities of those who live there.

Chronicle of a dressing thought

2. Dare qualche occhiata a "The Sartorialist by Scott Schuman" ricordandoti che hai ricevuto in regalo quel libro mentre eri in una splendida libreria inglese a Parigi poco lontano dal Louvre.

1. Read the back issues of Vogue that earlier had carefully placed in your library with some post-it notes stuck on the articles of the most interesting exhibitions or designers who have inspired you.
2Take a look at some "The Sartorialist by Scott Schumanreminding that you have received this book as a present while you were in a beautiful English bookshop in Paris not far from the Louvre.

3Remember that some time before you were discovered in the closet of "old" things (now strictly 'vintage') a simple red dressa silk chemisier, life cut. Rush to go with it a thin suedebelt mustard coloured by the same closet.
4. Hiding behind the short jacket, graymouse that always saves you life.

6. Essere pienamente soddisfatta della tua creazione colorata.
7. Andare a dormire.

5. Remember (... again) your mother Prada handbag hot pink quilted to which you did shorten the chain handles to make it a day bag.
6. Being fully satisfied with your full-colour creation.
7. Go to sleep.

From Venice with love

A perfect Saturday.
Wake up at 9, dress up, deperture for destination Venice Biennale D'Arte 2011.

Two magnificent spaces, Giardini and Arsenale.
Contemporary art is here live and breathe.
Very often it is a means of representing the world around them, the hardships and complaints that we must share and support.
But not only.
Contemporary art is imaginative eccentricities, photography and sculpture, beauty and performance.
Each work fills a space, and transforms it and contains ideas and concepts. It is not always easy to understand, but at least appreciate and learn something new is a must.

Fantasia reale.

Overabundant.
At a first look.

Interesting shapes overlap.
At a second look.

Brilliant!
... finally.
The right balance between reality and fiction, visual arts and fashion.

Because here there is not only the genius of an artist's mastery of pop art and couturier. The photograph establishes the connection between the two art forms.

Luis Vuitton and Barry Reigate for 10 Magazine Fall2011. The first provides the canvas clothes, the second painting.

Such images are bright and deep at the same time, they contain two extremes. Linearity and formality of dress color and exuberance and roundness of the painting.

Fantasy is going to be real.

Between tribal and colour

David Koma s/s 2012

Post-modern tribal.

Harmony is the exact middle between line and color. The color does not accentuate the shape, but draws geometric nuances.
Post-modern tribal.

Place to be artistic

Berlino?

 To be artistic

To be innovative

Berlin? The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about that city is culture. But not the historical culture, the modern one. Architecture, renovation, installations and modernism at first. This is the city of the vanguard, in order to be able to do with no labelingThe land of the conceptual artists. Contemporary art is almost exclusively done with expressed ideas. Now the technique has been explored by the great masters of the past and there is nothing left to invent. The idea, the concept assumes a physical and material form. That is the artistic wealth of this time. And the space to express this are many riches in Berlin.

Changing leaves

That is autumn!

Green smash yellow leaves.
And all seems to fall down in a dormant primordial.

Film notes

Appunto cinematografico.
Da vedere: Carnage.
Regista: Roman Polanski.
Giusto?

Film notes.
To see: Carnage.
Director: Roman Polanski.
Taken from: stage play by Yasmina Reza.
Presented to the 68ma Mostra del Cinema di Venezia.
Everyone has to appreciate that film in this historical moment. A truthful representation of social behaviors and hypocrisy that dominates relations. The inability to relate with the outside world. We're not following the absolute truth, but only our personal truth.
In addiction, great performance. Love rough and selfless humor of Cristoph Waltz.
Right?
